Solid rotary arm
The rotary arm is the component which swivels the film carriage around the pallet while the film carriage moves up and down along the rotary arm. The combination of these two movements results in a spiral shaped wrapping path. The rotary arm is produced from heavily braced profiles, fitted with external wiring for the vertical movement of the carriage from which the film carriage is suspended. This carriage is suspended on a chain and is driven by an SEW brake geared motor with which, frequency converted, the ascending and descending speed can be adjusted.
The main frame consists of four robust and firmly connected heavy square tube profile columns. The frame is completely powder coated in RAL colours, and designed to form a stable suspension for the rotary arm.
